Pin Configuration of XL4016 (Top View) Table 1 Pin Description Pin Number Pin Name Description Ground Pin. Care must be taken in layout. This pin should be placed outside of the Schottky Diode to output capacitor 1 GND ground path to prevent switching current spikes from inducing voltage noise into XL4016. Feedback Pin (FB). Through an external resistor divider 2 FB network, FB senses the output voltage and regulates it. The feedback threshold voltage is 1.25V. Power Switch Output Pin (SW). SW is the switch node that 3 SW supplies power to the output. Internal Voltage Regulator Bypass Capacitor Pin (VC). The 4 VC VC pin connect a 1uf capacitor to VIN. Supply Voltage Input Pin.
