Pin Number Function Description Interface Schematic Power control pin. For maximum power, this pin should be 1 Vpd connected to 5V. A higher voltage is not recommended. For lower idle current, this voltage can be reduced. 11 2, 4, 5 - 8, N/C No Connection T 12, 13, 15 This pin AC coupled 3 RFIN and matched to 50 Ohms. - SM S 9, 10, 11 RFOUT RF output and DC bias for the output stage. R IE Power supply voltage for the second amplifi er stage. Exter- IF 14 Vcc2 nal bypass capacitors and pull up choke are required as L shown in the application schematic. P Power supply voltage for the fi rst amplifi er stage. External 16 Vcc1 bypass capacitors are required as shown in the application M schematic. Ground: Backside of package has exposed metal ground R A GND slug that must be connected to ground thru a short path. Vias under the device are required.
